Still waiting....

Hubby has had some interest on the job front lately, though nothing has materialised so far. He’s sent off some speculative CVs this week and had a few replies…one letter to say they aren’t recruiting…one phone call to say they will keep his CV on file and another phone call to offer him an informal chat. The last company would be great to work for as we know somebody who has worked there before. At the moment they don’t have any jobs on offer but they want to meet with Andy to scope him out anyway. That sounds promising.

I am trying very hard to leave this all in God’s hands, for he knows when hubby’s new job will come along. I do admit though that at times I do struggle with impatience and frustration. In my heart I know and accept that God’s will will be done….but I wish I could shake the frustration and impatience.

Found your Adori blog via Heather at Butterflygirlms and to here from there.
I'm praying for you and your hubby at this time. I'm medically suspended with notice period starting 31.10 and ending 31.12. I lost my teaching post as the head didn't like the fact that I'm diabetic and couldn't promise never to be off sick again.
I started blogging whilst I was suspended as a way of filling my time, meeting people and coping with the stress.
Let me know how you and your hubby get on.
Blessings,
Amanda
PS I'm in Canterbury too.

That stinks! My mum is having the same issues with her employer at the moment - she's diabetic and a nurse. Surely it's discrimination...I think in that respect UK employment laws are pretty good compared to some countries, but even so its still a fight! I'll be praying that things turn out ok for you :)

Hugs

Thanks for replying to my comment Louise. Sorry to hear about your mum going through this type of thing too.
Luckily I'm a member of the NUT and they are being really supportive.
